Perhaps two of the most excessive cars on display on the recent Tokyo Auto Salon were the so-called Luxury Crystal Benz’s, each one a customized Mercedes-Benz SL600 studded with–we were told–300,000 Swarovski crystals, modified byGarson/D.A.D.
Not that I’d refuse if offered one but the cars look too showy for my mundane taste. Looks like a nice ride though, judging from the cool video below, if only for one night.

This is a move that we can only assume is aimed squarely at those who suck at games. Starting with upcoming New Super Mario Bros. Wii, future Nintendo wii titles will be shipping with the ability to, “play themselves”. In an interview with USA Today, Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed the existence of “demo play” for the next Mario game and “future games, too”.
It’s an option that allows the game to play itself when the player encounters an area too difficult for them to handle. Silly us, we thought that games were supposed to be challenging. According to Miyamoto, the idea is to reduce the barrier to entry for younger players and casual gamers alike.
Sneaker Files reports that The Nike Air Yeezy (Kanye West signature shoes) will release in the spring of 2009.Sneaker Files has confirmed that the majority of Air Yeezy styles and colorways will be limited releases.The Air Yeezy is inspired by Kanye West’s favorite shoes, notably the Air Jordan III (3) (used for the Yeezy mid-sole makeup). The Air Yeezy is highlited with glow in the dark accents which streak through the Nike Swoosh and Jordan III inspired mid-sole.
